Andy Callis joined the agency in 2006 after spending 7 years in Seattle working in the finance industry and later for PEMCO Insurance as a Licensed Agent. He holds Property & Casualty licenses in the states of WA, CA, ID, AZ & OR, and has obtained the special designation of ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative). Andy is the President of the agency and a Commercial Lines Risk Advisor. He primarily works with business owners and nonprofit agencies, as well as managing the agency’s marketing and general operations. Andy graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1999 and the University of WA in 2003 with a BA in Economics. Andy and his wife Amy have two daughters Mya and Sadie. Passionate about the local community, Andy joined Nor’Wester Rotary and was President in 2016-2017 and Vocational Chair from 2007 – 2016. Andy is on the Port Angeles advisory board for Boys & Girls Club of the Olympic Peninsula, and serves as their finance chair. In his spare time Andy enjoys fishing, golfing, hiking, photography, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
Julie Jeromchek is a 2nd generation Port Angeles native. She is a PAHS class of 1985 graduate and attended Peninsula College. She began her career at Callis & Associates, Inc., in 1985 as a part time file clerk and now holds a Property/Casualty and Life/Disability license and is the Personal Lines Manager. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting, home décor, making beach glass jewelry, and spending the weekends with her husband Joe at their Lake Cushman property.
Mary Patzman joined the agency in 2016 to work with our Commercial Insurance clients. She has spent her career in the insurance industry with an emphasis on Employee Benefit plans and Human Resources, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources. As our Employee Benefits Risk advisor, Mary is excited to use her Employee Benefit plan experience to help grow our Group Health Insurance client base. Mary grew up spending weekends and vacations on the Olympic Peninsula and is happy that she is now calling Port Angeles home.
Melissa Briggs has returned to the team; she has transitioned into the Office Manager / Bookkeeper position that was held by Gwyn. Melissa originally joined our team in 2011 working in the Commercial Lines Department with Andy. Melissa brings 20 years of experience in Office Management/ Bookkeeping from the Construction and Real Estate Industry. Melissa moved to the Olympic Peninsula in 1991 and graduated from Sequim High School in 1993. Melissa and her husband were blessed with twins in 2015. Now she spends her days chasing kids and savoring parenthood. Melissa says “There really is nothing quite like seeing the world through the eyes of a child.
Alicia Brown joined the team in June 2015 as an Executive Assistant and Receptionist. Alicia obtained her Property & Casualty insurance in the summer of 2016 and enjoys working with our personal lines clients and is seeking to get her license in life and health. She is a longtime resident of Sequim and graduated Sequim High School in 2010. She enjoys traveling, the beach, her family, and being involved in the veteran’s community. Alicia has already proven to be an asset to our office and provides efficient and friendly customer service. We are very pleased to have her as part of the team.
Erika Kerschner joined our agency in 2013 and she brought with her a diverse array of experience in the insurance and financial industries reaching back to 1989 when she first began her career in insurance. Erika is licensed in Life/Health and Property/Casualty, and is also our resident Medicare and Health Exchange expert. Erika and her husband enjoy spending their time together in the great outdoors of the northwest, and making their annual trip down to the Oregon coast for some rest and relaxation. Customer care has always been very important to Erika and she enjoys working with the customers of Callis Insurance.
Derek Floor joined the agency in 2017 to oversee our Bremerton office. He has been in the insurance industry since 2007 and is licensed in property, casualty, life and health. Derek is a Northwest native, having grown up in Salem, Oregon. As a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, this was his segue to the great state of Washington and currently resides in Gig Harbor. He has two amazing kids; Lauren age 15 and Davis age 10. Being a father to these two is pure joy and often times hilariously funny with a dash of sass. Derek is a huge fan of all sports but has a true passion for football and baseball. He loves the Seahawks and has been known to be a closet Oregon State Beaver fan. Derek is a member of Harbor Covenant Church in Gig Harbor and is also involved with the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce. His motto is “All Things People” and is readily available to listen.
Kayla Hennings joined our team November 2017 as a Commercial CSR. She was born in Port Angeles and Graduated in 2015 from PAHS. She spent most of her time in the band program playing the Trombone in Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, and Marching Band. She now enjoys spending her time spoiling others with her baked goods, cuddling her eccentric little dog Phoebe, and going on adventures.
Stacy Campos joined the team in June 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. Stacy brings 24 years of customer service experience and strives to take extra care with a customer’s needs. She is proud to be a wife, a mother and a new grandma. Life is never dull when you have 2 adult children, 2 tween girls and a grand baby to spoil! In her spare time, she is a workout enthusiast and happily volunteers at her daughter’s school.
